All about CAT 2011
CAT is Common Admission Test is the entrance test conducted for admission in various postgraduate programs in various reputed colleges and institutes of India.
Now, the CAT 2011 is coming. As an interested candidate, if you want to join this test, then you have to apply online through the official website. You have to first get the application voucher by paying the application fee in the indicated bank branch. The challan no. is used while filling the form online.
Usually, the application fee submission dates are from end of August to end of September; The tentative date of examination is just at the end of September.
The test is of 2 hours duration. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 or 2 marks & for each wrong answer, 1/3rd mark will be deducted. The questions are on Verbal ability, Data interpretation & reasoning and Quantitative ability.
This is a computerized test where the student has to give the exam on computer at the designated centers. The test will take place for 10 consecutive dates. These dates are different for different students and each day, there will be different sets of questions.
