Usually, you probably how important it is to network with bloggers on your same niche if you have been blogging for several months, right? But unfortunately, in most cases, you will find that it is really tough to find those blogs that are similar to your blog. Although some blog directories can be helpful sometimes, most of them don’t have too many indexed blogs to be worth it. Other blog rank services, such as Technorati, also don’t have a breakdown by categories or blog niches.
In order to solve this problem, people from Invesp launched the BlogRank service. They are tracking over 30,000 blogs, and they use a proprietary algorithm to rank those blogs inside each category. The interesting thing is that apart from the overall rank, you can also check the rank for individual factors, for example the blogs with the largest RSS readership or lowest Alexa rank.
Their first release just has 50 categories, but they are planning to expand it to 500. If you often try to find good blogs on your same niches, Invesp is worth trying indeed.
